‘THERE WILL BE RIOTS AT ELLAND ROAD’: SOME LEEDS FANS REACT TO BIG TRANSFER UPDATE

Leeds United is currently leading the way in the Championship, but Marcelo Bielsa needs further improvements after losing the last three consecutive matches in all competitions.

Another stern test awaits fellow promoters Derby County on Friday evening and the general consensus is that new signatures will be required in January to help the Peacocks keep their push for a return to the Premier League.

However, 10 days into the window, Leeds’ business on the market has so far been out and, together with a large number of injury problems, the Peacocks squad looked rather thin – and Bielsa’s comments raised concerns.

Speaking of the possibility of signing new players, Bielsa admitted that his team lacks numbers but added that he will only pursue new additions if they are better than the current options available to him – which suggests that Elland Road could have a quiet month.

This has led to a variety of reactions on social media and some of the comments from supporters have been collected below.
